Course description:You pre-enter at e-mail the computer lead marion.archer45@gmail.com in advance giving name(s), club(s), age class & SI number(s). If you are entering a full team, please give a team name. You can also register on the day. 60 minute score (10 points per control) mass start at 11:00am-------------------- 45 minute score (12 points per control) mass start at 11:10am-------------------- 30 minute score (16 points per control) mass start at 11:20am-------------------- Briefing and map issue 5 minutes before each mass start ................................................................................................................................... This is a team score event with a difference. The event is for teams of 3 but all entries are welcome - we will make up ad-hoc teams on the day from single person and pair entries. There are 3 courses and each team will need to select one of their members for each of the courses. Courses are 30 minutes (16 points per control), 45 minutes (12 points per control, and 60 minutes (10 points per control). All team members receive a map with all controls marked. Teams will need to evaluate the best use of their members to maximise their final points total. Penalties will be incurred for every minute or part minute for each late finisher. On completion each competitor should punch the “finish” and go to down-load as soon as they get there. There is no need to wait for other team members before the finish is punched. Fancy dress is encouraged. Extra points will be awarded for fancy dress. NOTE: In a score event there is no pre-defined sequence of controls to be visited. The aim is to collect as many points as possible by visiting controls in any order that you choose, so deciding which controls to visit in which order is an important element of the event.
