Thousands flocked to the stunning scenery of Yorkshire for the celebratory 50th year of the Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering event over the Easter weekend.
On Monday next week it will be just 30 days to go for the first World Orienteering Day. There are at the moment 45 countries and almost 300 events registered.
The first ever World Orienteering Day will be held on Wednesday 11th May 2016. All schools, all O-clubs and all countries all over the world are encouraged to participate.
The 35th Annual General Meeting of the British Orienteering Federation will be held on Friday 25th March 2016 at Leeds University Union, Lifton Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS2 9JZ, starting at 5.00pm in meeting room 6.
The University of Bristol hosted this weekend's British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Orienteering Championships with over 200 athletes representing 28 Universities in the individual and relay competitions.
The Talent Squad are spending part of this week, in Perthshire, putting their techniques under pressure in preparation for the forthcoming selection races.
