JWOC 2026 Round-up
The 2026 Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) came to a close in Sweden after a week of high-quality competition across the sprint, forest and relay disciplines. Team GB delivered a series of encouraging performances, with several athletes achieving personal best results at Junior World Championship level and demonstrating the continued progress of the British Orienteering Talent and Performance Programmes.

EYOC 2026: Sprint Results
EYOC (European Youth Orienteering Championships) started today with the sprint race held in the town of Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. With hot temperatures and tricky courses featuring artificial barriers and plenty of route-choice challenges, the athletes were tested both physically and technically from the outset of the competition.

Francis Richard Galindo Rose… ‘Frank,’ born in Liverpool on 2nd August 1929. Francis after his mothers favourite brother who died in 1919 just after WW1. Richard after his father and Galindo after Captain Galindo who fought in the Crimea with our 2 x Great Grandfather.
