Two Golds for GB today at the 2018 World Masters Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships (WMMBTOC) in the Long race today.

Overnight rain made the conditions for this race even tougher than was expected with winning times increased by 15-25% by the muddy conditions. On a very hilly course this affected optimum route choice with longer routes with better traction winning out.

The conditions favoured both Killian Lomas (M50) and Charlie Somers-Cocks (W55) winning Gold.

Congratulations to Killian and Charlie on your Gold winning performances today in the Long today.
