Preparations are well under way for the British Night Championships Weekend

Entries are open for the final British Orienteering Championships of the year - Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 November 2021.

The British Night Championships Weekend will be held at Cleeve Hill in Gloucestershire on Saturday 27 November 2021, and in the Forest of Dean at Cannop Ponds on the following day (Sunday 28 November 2021) - an event hosted by Bristol Orienteering Klubb.

Pat MacLeod, member of North Gloucestershire Orienteering Club and Organiser of the British Night Championships, comments:
"We in North Gloucestershire Orienteering Club are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible for what should be a challenging race weekend."

"Cleeve Hill is the highest point in the Cotswolds, and a great area for night orienteering, and was last used for the Harvester in 2016. The area is mainly fast open terrain, but also with areas of complex contour and vegetation detail. The event is based in Cleeve Hill Golf Club, with start and finish within 300m of the clubhouse, and parking for cars adjacent to it. Overnight camping, and parking for all camper vans, is in a field about 800m walk from the clubhouse."

"We are grateful to the Golf Club, Cleeve Hill Conservators, and local farmer Mr Richard Andrews, for permission to use their land and facilities for this event."
