British Orienteering is the National Governing Body for Orienteering in the UK with the vision that Orienteering is the ‘go to’ outdoor sport for people wanting to test themselves physically and mentally.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed individual to further their experience and contribute to the continued growth of orienteering across England.
The position available with flexible location but with a preference for individuals based in the Midlands.
This is an exciting and challenging role with the responsibility of implementing the national strategy at a local level by supporting clubs and local delivery partners to improve the retention of frequent participants, in particular women, and increase the number of participants that orienteer frequently.
Candidates will need to be flexible and able to work weekday evenings and weekends where appropriate.
The role is full time and for a minimum of 6 months. The position is home based with regular travel and a requirement to attend the national office fortnightly. More information can be found in the job description and person specification below
