International Team Administrator Vacancy

British Orienteering is the national governing body for orienteering in the United Kingdom.

British Orienteering has recently embarked on a strategic refresh, and we are reshaping the way in which we support and serve our membership.

As part of this programme, we are creating a new role ‘International Team Administrator’ to support those teams and individuals representing Great Britain at major events. This person will report directly to and work closely with the Operations Manager, as part of a small but focused group of professional staff.

British Orienteering is seeking an experienced administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to our international teams and to the wider Performance Pathway for our elite athletes. You will manage the day-to-day administration of the Performance Pathway, communicating and working closely with international team managers, support staff, athletes and coaches.

You will also provide support to the Performance Pathway Programme and associated committees and will manage assigned projects as required.

We expect you to have experience of working within a sports or leisure organisation, and to demonstrate a strong involvement in, connection to or understanding of orienteering.

Initially, the position will be fixed term until 31st December 2020.
