The Junior Regional Orienteering Squads are seeking two volunteers – can you help?

The Junior Regional Orienteering Squads (JROS) is the umbrella organisation for the 12 Regional UK Junior Squads. They are currently looking to recruit two new volunteers.

About the Junior Regional Orienteering Squads

JROS develops junior orienteering talent through six annual training camps, in the UK and abroad, for juniors aged M/W14-M/W20.

They also train and develop young coaches, offering coaching courses and coaching opportunities on the training camps. JROS are totally reliant on voluntary donations and as such they are very keen to recruit two volunteers to help them fundraise.

What will be the role of the volunteers?

JROS envisage that one volunteer would be responsible for writing grant applications to bodies such as the Orienteering Foundation; whilst the other would co-ordinate fundraising activities such as (but not limited to!) raffles, Christmas Card sales etc at major events.

How to get involved

If you are able to help or have any good suggestions for fundraising activities, please contact Carol Lovegrove: jrossecretary@gmail.com.
