Renew your British Orienteering Membership
Welcome to the membership renewals page. Here you will find out more about all the ways you can renew your membership with us for 2026.
British Orienteering membership runs from January to December each year.
Membership renewals are now LIVE. We now invite current members to login to their account and renew their membership with us online.
Thank you to all of our new and existing members for their support throughout this past year. We are excited for the year ahead and what it will bring to our sport.
Important information about being a member of multiple clubs
Members may belong to a maximum of two clubs only if one of the clubs is closed (e.g., a home club and a university club).
Please note:
- The system will display only one club as your primary club.
- The secondary club will be recorded in the membership notes for reference.
- If a member wishes to switch between their two clubs to competitively race, under these circumstances, this can only be arranged through the office. We do require 7-days notice before the event to do this.
- Payments to the second club must be paid directly to the club. There are no additional fees to BOF.
- We must be notified by the member and the club that the payment has been made directly to the second club, to add this information to their membership.
Here is a breakdown of the membership fees and offers for 2026:

| Family offer (Any new or existing families will be able to benefit from this offer which covers a maximum of 2 seniors and 1 or more juniors) | £39 |

Ways to renew your membership for 2026
Online
The easiest way to renew your membership is online. From 1 November 2025 members can simply sign into their online account where you will see a box displayed to the left hand of the screen stating that "Membership for 2026 is now open. Click here to renew."
Click renew and you will be taken through the stages to secure your payment.
Via Cheque
Post the renewal form that you will have received previously and a cheque made payable to British Orienteering to the National Office.
If you no longer have your renewal form please telephone the National Office to obtain your fees.

Renewals are a busy period for the team, so please bear with us as we manage a high volume of calls and emails, and a polite reminder that abusive or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
Set up a Direct Debit with us
The Direct Debits Mandates deadline for 2026 membership has now passed; however, if you wish to set up a direct debit for 2027 membership onwards, Direct Debit forms need to be returned to the office by 16 October 2026 to be implemented in time for 2027 renewals.
Please do not email mandate forms back to the National Office; they must be posted and require a handwritten signature for the banks.
Setting up a Direct Debit payment is a secure, convenient way to ensure continuous membership and avoid manual renewal, but you must cancel it before the annual payment if you don't wish to renew.
Note that if you do set up a direct debit with us, payment will come out of your account in December 2026 for 2027 membership.
