Details

Description:Terrain: Coniferous woodland and moorland of considerable variety. This area was used for the M21E course at the 1996 JK. Map: 1:10,000 scale. 5m countours. A4 size. Updated in 2015. Courses will be overprinted on the maps, which will be printed on waterproof paper Entries: Pre-entry is strongly advised, although there entries will be accepted on the day subject to map availability. Please enter via the on-line entry system at Fabian 4. The on-line entry system will go live on 9‑Jan‑2015. Pre-entries close at midnight on Sunday 1‑Mar‑2015. The on-line entry system will continue to accept entries until midnight on Thursday 5-Mar-2015 ........ but you will be charged the 'entry on the day' surcharge, and limitations on map availability mean that you will not be guaranteed entry to your chosen course. There will be entry on the day subject to map availability and a surcharge of £2 for Seniors entering the Light Green - Black courses and £4 for families. Safety: Please remember that you must download even if you have not completed your course. CLOK strongly recommends that you carry a whistle whilst participating in this (and every) orienteering event. Please remember that competitors take part at their own risk. Orienteering is an adventure sport – your safety while orienteering is your own responsibility

Course description:White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Very Short Green, Short Green, Green, Blue, Brown and Black. Age classes will not be allocated to courses. Free string course Fees: Seniors on Light Green - Black: £10.00 Seniors on White - Orange: £3.00 Juniors / Students (with valid cards): £3.00 Families*: £24.00 * A family is two parents and however many children. There will be a £2.00 surcharge for any adult entering the Light Green - Black courses who is not a British Orienteering member. There will also be the following surcharges for entries after the pre-entry closing time of midnight on Sunday 1‑Mar‑2015:- >> Seniors on Light Green - Black: £2 >> Families: £4 Note: We would like to point out that if you are a family where the seniors are running White, Yellow or Orange courses it may be less expensive to enter individually rather than as a family.
