| Parking information: | In a field close to the start and finish. Car parking space is very limited, and competitors are urged to car share as much as possible. The route to the event and car park field is single track, and the entrance to the car park field is at an angle and a little steep. The single track road and narrow entrance to the car parking field make it unsuitable for motorhomes. If the car park fills up there will be some limited roadside parking, or competitors will be asked to park considerately in Chinley village and walk up the road to the event (about ¾ of a mile). If you want advice on where to park a motorhome/large camper van, or want to discuss parking, please contact the organiser. Due to the single track road leading to the event, no cars will be able to leave the car park field before 12pm. |
| Dog rules: | Dogs are not allowed on courses, there are sheep in the surrounding fields. They are permitted in car park/assembly but MUST be on a lead and any poo removed. |

| Description: | This area has never been used for orienteering before. The terrain is predominately very fast and runnable rough grassland with very little bracken or heather to impede progress. Areas of old quarries with many small hills, boulders, crags, and depressions provide complex and challenging navigation on steep, sometimes rocky slopes. |
