| Course description: | Yellow, about 1.5km in Tredegar Park only, easy course mostly on paths, especially suited to families, younger participants, beginners and/or those who just want to walk round Orange, about 2km, in Tredegar Park only, bit harder than Yellow but not much so still easy and suitable for beginners. Some control sites more off the paths than the Yellow Green, about 4.5km, in Gaer Fort area only (includes 1km each way of running (& navigating) to/from Gaer Fort on paths/roadside). Moderately hard, controls off paths so some basic navigation skills required, and up and down Gaer Fort hill so suitable for those with a bit of experience and wanting a longer course. Blue, about 6.5km, in Gaer Fort and Tredegar Park area (includes 1km each way of running between areas). As for Green, but also a loop round Tredegar Park for a bit more length. |
