| Parking information: | From the east / west, along the M4 to J34, take the A4119 (Ely Valley Road) north through Talbot Green following signs for the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, passing it on the left. The forest car park may be approached either from the roundabout just after the Hospital, taking the first exit sharply back south, or following on to the next roundabout, again taking the first exit also back south. The car park is approximately 1.5km from the roundabout in each case. Streetmap Link. GR ST 024848Parking will either be in the public carpark, or if it start to get busy, on the forest track that leads west up to the hill out of the carpark. |

| Description: | Llantrisant forest is a mixture of coniferous and deciduous forest divided by forest tracks on a mainly westward facing slope. The area is steep, and climb is similar to previous events. |
