| Parking information: | Open area within Great Wildgoose Woods, accessed via a track from Vowels Lane (adjacent to where the power lines cross the road). Vowels Lane will be crossed en-route to the start and back from the finish. Note that as of late February the car park, which has a firm base, is actually very muddy and only partly useable due to movements related to forestry operations. We are liaising with Balcombe Estate as to how to resolve issues this will cause. |

| Course description: | First used for Orienteering in November 2021, the Gravetye Estate comprises a mix of working forest of varying runnability and areas of sheep-grazed fields. The area is undulating throughout with evidence of historic ground workings (as is commonly found in the high weald). Due to recent forestry works, which has considerably improved some previously quite unpleasant sections, the map will be fully updated for this event. Juniors should seek advice from their club's YBT team captain as to which of the following courses to enter - Yellow, Orange, Light Green & Green.
