Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19, the decision has been made to move the Coaching Conference planned for 2021, from its traditional January networking format, to online.
Instead, the conference will be split up throughout the month of January with a variety of workshops and presentations available.
Peter Brooke England Development Manager, said:
“Whilst it’s disappointing not to be able to meet everyone in person, we’re looking to build an exciting programme of workshops and discussions through our online platforms which will ensure there is the opportunity for new and existing coaches to learn and share their experiences in a safe environment.”
“Together with the feedback from the last conference, we have created a short survey to understand which types of workshops and what formats coaches would prefer. Initial thoughts include delivering live presentations to small workshops with only a limited number of people per session.”
“We would be grateful if coaches or those who support clubs in this area, would spend a couple of minutes completing the short survey and help us shape the conference for you.”
The survey can be found here:

Please note: The survey will close at 5pm on Wednesday 14 October 2020.
Further details about the Coaching Conference will be released in the next couple of months on the British Orienteering website.
