| Parking information: | Car Park at rear of Missing Link Brewery - exit off "Selsfield Road" about 1km east of the Vowels Lane junction / 500m west of West Hoathly - look for the sign for the "Missing Link Brewery Shop & Tap Room". From this turn off, it's about 800 metres on the Chiddinglye Estate Road to the car park - follow signs and park as directed in our dedicated car parking area. |

| Description: | This event forms part of our Saturday morning summer parkland sprint series, with three courses on offer - the main sprint course for experienced orienteers of all age (normally about 3km), plus Orange & Yellow standard courses of approx 2km & 1km for newcomers of all ages, including children and family groups. The MIssing Link brewery tap room / cafe is close to car parking - please visit after your run if you are able to (our future use of the area may depend on the custom we bring in). Besides the various brews on offer, there is also Coffee and soft drinks, cakes and other snacks. |

Courses
| Course description: | Three courses - Sprint, Orange & Yellow. Approximate lengths 3km, 1.5km, 1km. This is the first use of Chiddinglye for Orienteering - mapped by Thomas Jarvis at 1:4000 in March/April 2026. The area comprises two distinct parts - the eastern half is predominantly gently sloping grassy fields with ribbons of woodland, whilst the western half is mixed runnability woodland with some steep slopes and an array of sandstone rock features - including crags of varying sizes and a littering of boulders. As this is a sprint event, the courses will avoid the thicker woodland as far as possible, staying in the more runnable sections. |
