: Parking will be at Abergavenny Leisure centre / secondary school. Parking is limited to ~140 spaces – please travel in groups as far as possible. The route through the leisure centre and school is a one way system. As such there will be no restrictions on arrival and departure, but please take care when leaving the school since the route to the start follows along the road out of the site.
Dog rules:
No dogs allowed on the area due to grazing sheep. Please keep dogs on leads / under close control in the leisure centre / school grounds. Please do not let dogs foul the leisure centre / school grounds.

Description:
Terrain: Brand new area never been used for orienteering before. Wooded valleys and spurs on the Southern flank of Sugar Loaf mountain. Delightful runnable woodland with very little undergrowth, but steep slopes along with some areas of open moorland with dead bracken. Areas of contour detail provided by former mine and quarry workings
