Parking information:Take the A24 turning to the south of Southwater and bear north west up Mill Straight / Worthing Road. The car park is few hundred metres on the right (almost opposite Andrews Road). There is a pay and display meter with a 50p charge.

Details

Description:A former claypit / brickworks which has been landscaped into a country park. A mixture of wood, scrub & parkland with lakes. Runnability varies greatly, the area is quite hilly and some slopes can be very slippery after rain, appropriate footwear essential. Course lengths will be shorter than usual, times at Southwater are always longer than other local venues

Course description:Blue 4.8km (hard) - experienced Orienteers only. Green 3.2km (hard) but shorter than blue, for experienced Orienteers. Orange 2.1km (medium) for progressing juniors and newcomers. Yellow 1.2km (easy) for complete beginners of all ages. All courses are on the short side due to the nature of the terrain
