Courses
| Course description: | Short, Medium and Long courses available, plus a Junior Sprint. The Junior Sprint course is suitable for under 16s to run unaccompanied, younger juniors (under 12) are recommended to be accompanied by an adult due to the course using a cycle path to link areas. Under 16s are not allowed on short, medium or long courses. Terrain: Complex estate comprised of green and curvilinear residential street networks and long, paved footpaths alike, where most roads do all look surprisingly similar. Junior sprint course reaches across parkland with some wooded features, playing fields, and footpaths. Road shoes, shorts, and vests are suitable. Map: • 1:5,000 scale with 2.5m contours. • Drawn by Dudley Budden in 2022, updated in 2025 by David Faulkner • Waterproof size A3 with courses overprinted. • Loose control descriptions will be available. • Contours have not been added to the northern end of the map and since mapping there have been numerous new trees planted |
